The Lord is Not Restrained

Sometimes we fail to believe the Lord can work on our behalf. We think the circumstances keep Him from giving us victory over something that is before us. Therefore, we do not go forward, trusting Him to fight for us. That is a huge mistake on our part. Jonathan, Saul's son, knew that the Lord is not restrained. (I Samuel 14:6) He had great confidence that God was able to save by many or by few. He knew God could work, no matter how many people were on His side. We all need to put this truth into action in our lives.

Often, we talk ourselves out of believing God for a great victory in our life. We convince ourselves that we are too weak or that we do not have enough intelligence to be used by God. That is never true. God can use any of us at any time, if we are willing to trust Him and stand against the enemies in our life. It doesn't take a large group of believers to do God's will, either. God can take a small group or a small church and do great things. However, the faith in His power to work through us must be present. We must be ready at any moment to march into battle for the Lord and see the forces of Satan defeated. I pray that we have all seen this in our lives, but if not, let's determine to believe like Jonathan. Then, let's see what great things the Lord will do in and through us.
