A Bible Prophecy Fulfilled in Our Time
Many Bible prophecies were fulfilled in the past, and some are yet to be fulfilled in the future. It is always exciting to see a Bible prophecy fulfilled in our own time. It just drives home the point that 100% of the prophecies of the Bible have come true and will come true. It is one of the proofs of God's Word. Today, we can see the fulfillment of Isaiah 19:17. The country of Israel has become a terror to Egypt. What a turn around in history. However, God said He would do it, and He did.
The fact that Egypt is no longer the most powerful nation on earth, as it was In Joseph's time, is a result of the judgment of God on that country. Then, the restoration of Israel as a nation in 1948 was the result of God's will. Since then, Israel has grown from a very weak nation to a very strong nation, and after Egypt tried to conquer them with other Arab states, the world and Egypt have seen that Egypt is no match for Israel. That is one reason why people are so hard on Israel now. It is not even a fair fight between them and the surrounding nations, because God has blessed them so much.
